  I LOVE THIS PLACE. Ida's serves real soul food from scratch everyday. I know that's a fact because when I go outside I can smell that deliciousness as soon as I open my door every morning. The reason the buffet is not self serve is because it's REAL food. Cross contamination is a concern especially when your serving different kinds of meat like fish and chicken.
  The staff is warm, friendly, and down to earth. I receive prompt service every time I go.
  Yea it's a small buffet. That's just fine with me. If she made it any bigger than it is I would never be able to make up my mind and have to sit down and eat the buffet... lol

  I would not recommend this place, they have a daily special or you can order the buffet however the buffet bar is not self serve you have to wait on the staff to serve you. Food was bland and did not taste good. Price was expensive $30 for 2 people and not very many food items on the buffet 4 side items and 4 meat choices
